I’ve made it my personal rule to raise a glass wherever I travel: sunset, sunrise, castle walls, sand between my toes. Long before I became a travel advisor, I was the person who loved planning the trip, comparing the options, finding the little details, and figuring out how to make it all come together. I’ve been doing that for myself, friends, and family for more than 30 years. I’m based in Seattle, and I love the part of travel that catches you by surprise: the view you didn’t expect, the market stall you almost walked past, the meal you’re still talking about years later. I’ve watched the coastline slip away from a ship’s verandah, stood inside centuries-old walls, and clinked two coconuts together like champagne flutes on a beach. I’ve also, without a shred of shame, skipped down Main Street USA in Mickey ears with an ice cream bar in hand like I was seven again. Elegant or silly, relaxing or adventurous, I believe the best trips are the ones you get to throw yourself into completely. I love helping travelers discover the things that make a trip feel like their own. And if I can take enough of the planning work off your shoulders so you can actually enjoy looking forward to it? That’s my favorite part.
