What Inspired Your Journey Into Travel?
My love for travel and all the things it entails. I believe the world has so much to offer — culturally, historically, and visually. I want to help create those memories and experiences for others. On a deeper level, I truly believe that exploring outside of one’s daily routine is one of the best forms of education. Travel is not only joy and relaxation, but a bridge to deeper human understanding.
And of course — let’s not forget the remote work and flexibility my business provides!
Finding Her Path
After working in hotels and bartending, I had the flexibility to travel all over the world — and I was inspired. For years, I had been planning trips for myself and friends, dreaming about turning it into a career. One of my regulars introduced me to a woman who owned her own travel business, and from there, I dipped my toes in and eventually knew this was exactly where I belonged.
Overcoming Challenges
Just like starting any business, there’s always a bit of fear. Leaving behind the security of my old career was terrifying, but necessary to build a life I loved. There was a learning curve — understanding the industry, building confidence, and learning from mistakes. I leaned heavily on my leadership team, took everything in, and grew from every challenge.
Proudest Moment
My proudest moment was planning an engagement surprise in Italy — on a rooftop in Tuscany at dusk. Seeing the video of that proposal brought tears to my eyes. Knowing that I helped create a memory that couple will cherish forever is the reason I do what I do.
The Power of Community
I can’t say this enough — I could not have built my business without the support of our team. Whether it’s destination advice, best practices, tech help, or travel hiccups, I always know help is just a message away. That network of support is priceless.
Life Today
My life has completely changed — in the best way. I now have the flexibility to design my schedule, prioritize my family, and find true balance. Coming from hotels and hospitality, this shift has been life-changing. My work-life balance is what I make of it — and that’s beautiful.
Advice for New Advisors
Lean on the support provided and know that learning takes time. Organization is key — as are boundaries! Growth happens gradually, and every client interaction helps you refine your voice, process, and confidence. Trust yourself.
Favorite Destination
Iceland was absolutely magical — my husband and I honeymooned there and fell in love with the landscapes and people. My next favorite would be Hong Kong. The culture, food, hiking, ancient villages, and history were unlike anything else I’ve ever experienced.
