Hi, I’m Maryann. I’m based in North Carolina with my two Australian Shepherds, Sansa and Arya. As a kid, I told my dad I was going to travel the world and I meant it lol. Since then I’ve visited 40+ countries and spent months solo traveling through Europe, where I fell completely in love with Spain. I’m now working on my Spanish, with hopes of living there someday. The part of travel I love most, and the reason I became an advisor, is finding the places that make you feel truly alive. I’ll spend hours on Google Maps clicking around a city until I find the thing that makes me stop and think, how did I not know this existed? The mirador with the view that stops you mid-sentence. The best spot in town to watch the sunset. A beach with water so clear you can see straight to the reef below, along a coastline that feels almost too wild and beautiful to be real. That’s the research I love doing, and it’s the part I love sharing most. Traveling with Sansa has taught me what actually makes a place dog-friendly, not just dog-tolerant. I like finding those places for other dog owners too, so no one has to leave their best friend behind.
